Nana Osaki is the lead singer of the punk band Black Stones and one of the two central characters in Ai Yazawa's Nana. She grew up in a small town, left behind a painful past, and moved to Tokyo to pursue music on her own terms. With her bandmates, she works toward making Black Stones a success while navigating love, friendship, and the pull between ambition and the people she cares about.
Fans are drawn to Nana's unapologetic attitude and her fierce independence. She is blunt, proud, and often guarded, but she shows deep loyalty to her friends and a tenderness she rarely lets others see. Her style—edgy punk with a touch of vulnerability—and her determination to stay true to herself make her a memorable and inspiring figure.
